what good synth vsts are there for live use (rompler-like) that have many good sounds and are easy to use so you can arrange the patches and change settings live in a show?

Hey guys, I just installed BFD2, to use in Samplitude, the install was ok, with all the updates, etc.

It works perfectly in standalone mode, but as a plugin -vst, despite it works, there is no sound. I can choose instruments etc, but there is no sound. I enabled the Midi button, tried to route them to the notes in Samplitude's piano roll, and nothing turned out.

after reading some threads here, I still can't seem to find the answer to a recurring question that bounces in my head as echo...

why on earth is my computer having performance issues with Sonar PE 8 (8.0) when I try to use a couple of plugins?

Cubase 5.1
Cakewalk SI-String Section VST

When I play SI-String Section into a project in Cubase 5.1, the first notes sound well but after a pair of seconds, they distorted a lot and it is impossible to make it sounds well.

Anyone who have experimented the same problem?

Any solution or idea?

I currently have a Yamaha YPT-400 Keyboard and I wanted to upgrade my midi capabilities. I want to do more with it, and sometimes when I press 5 keys at once, my VST gets distorted. (left hand stops even though Im holding the note. Not sure if that's keyboard related)

What compressor do most of you use when mastering? Do you use a transparent compressor or an analog simulated one that adds some color?

I tend to use the Waves SSL and then if I need to compress more I use a transparent compressor.

I realize this could go in the VST but people never check anything there so I was wondering if anyone had a rec on a Glockenspiel VST, I'll buy it if I have to, I need a good tinkly tone for a track I'm working on.

I am using the Oxygen midi keyboard, i only use Magix Music Maker 16 at the moment, but i want to make my very own big trance sounds, how could i do this? What vst can i download that would work with magix music maker 16?
