Vocal weirdness.. strange delay
Tonight during a session the vocalist wanted to throw in some references to a song we had just made. I'd already warmed up the 737 like they recommend in the manual and the mic was ready. We start recording, and then we noticed a slight but very noticeable delay ..

New rig/ SATA weirdness
I decided to use the SATA drive on my new DAW, despite others saying not to. No drivers were needed during the install.
Everything went fine until reboot. I either fixed a no boot problem by disableing "boot from HD", to "boot from "other", or I think I changed the boot sequence from my SATA to the Maxtor IDE.

Weird Sample Rate/Clocking Problem
So a few weeks ago, i was recording a band...and i had Digital Performer set to record at 48K and get its clock from the AES EBU input...
but the AES EBU device sending the clock was accidentally set to 44.1
so the resulting files were labeled as 48K in their meta data...but were actually recorded at 44.1

Phase weirdness and a comment.
How is it possible for the OH's to both be 180 degrees out of phase with the rest of the drum tracks? Mine were. fixed em, and they are the best sounding drums I've recorded hands down.

Need advice about this weird little hum problem
Hi there,
I have start making new audio cables for my Studio and before I get further I would like to know what I can do about the following problem.
Harmonizers, and other weird FX modules?
I am usually a no frills guy when it comes to vocals, I just like GOOD vocals.
However I am getting into a lot of work with people who want WEIRD Marylin Manson-ish vocals.
My first thought is the Eventide Harmonizer, but I do not have access to one anymore, and as much as I would like to have one, they are still pricey, or at least all the ones I have seen.

ANUS/Nuendo weirdness.
*Here's a repost of something I asked about on *PCDAW, and got a couple of replies to. I have *since checked (again) DMA and some other things, *and all the settings seem to be fine:
