What drum sample program would you recommend? Also, what would be better: a set of electronic drums such as roland or Yamaha, or a drum sampling program?
to say better is just too misleading as method of work will have a great bearing here.
An electro set will let you play the drum patter with your hands and feet.
I think this is worthwhile but it has been difficult to get bands to use the electro set-up.
As for sample program ...
that may come down to your DAW and the interlinking between the two.
I'm currently on Reason as it gives good bang for buck and interlinks well with my DAW.
You can probably guess which one.
I suggest if you know nothing about this stuff then you must reseach and get hands on time and advice from someone with a system ... and that system should suit your needs.
