Did a search, could not find what i was looking for. Plus everytime i go back on my search the page dont show up? But anyway, Right now i have a Tascam us122 USb interface. I want to upgrade to HD so some sort. I gues i will need a PCI card? I want to get as much of a professinal setup as possible for under $1000. Any sugesstions? Channels dont matter as much cuz right now i have 2 and have gotten use to it.

How much higher resolution do you need? Your unit can already record & play 24-bit high-resolution files. And so you need to record beyond 22 kHz? Have you already learned how to make decent recordings on your current unit? If not? High resolution won't help. You are going to deliver a 16-bit 44.1kHz file for CDs & MP3's. And your musical genre might be?? You know most of this crap is marketing hype. If you are only using two inputs, stay with what you have. If you want more than 2, go for something like a Presonus FP 10/Fire Studio with 8 inputs.
