I have the Sony C800GPAC condenser studio microphone. i also have the Mackie Digital X Bus. i also have the Echo Audiofire 12 Firewire interface. so my question is that, will it be a good combination?

Damn....I just looked at the Digital X Bus and it looks nice, but there are a few things I don't like with what I'm reading (like keeping track of your plugins/latency). I didn't bother looking at the price because I think that might make me think less of it. Probably the usual....cost to feature ratio way out of whack.

In the time you took to write, submit and wait for an answer you could of done the smart and right thing by connecting it up and trying it for yourself.
If that is what you have to use, use it.
