You could always get a voltage step down transformer 220VAC/110VAC for less than 40 US dollars. That would solve your problem at a reduced cost if the IBIS does not have a "universal powersupply"

Just checked the back of mine and yes, it is set up to work at both 120 and 230 VAC, you just need to change the fuse.

Guys thanks,all I can say is "yippee". I just checked the price in a USA store and they want I think $3700,at the Aussie store I checked they want $7500 can you believe this. Also I noticed it may be hard for me to actually buy one from the states as on the Mercenary audio site the Cranesong product pages say these are US prices only and they wont ship Cranesong overseas at the same rates.
I mean I could fly over have a nice holiday and pick up an Ibis myself for $7500. I might call the supplier here and see what the best deal would be.Unless it came in under $5000 I'd just import one.
Well I hope an Aussie supplier reads this as alot of studio owners I know are importing things themselves now,because the suppliers here are a rip off.I'm happy to pay a mark up but not double, our exchange rate is roughly 75c in the dollar.

Have you checked with the Japanese or Hong Kong dealers I understand sometimes they are very low in price compared to elsewhere in the world also some of the European distrubutors will ship internationally. I personally have not checked since I live in the US.
