I am having problem with the following config:
Running Digital Performer 3.1 on a G4 (OS9). MOTU 2408 MK III w/ PCI-424 interface and CueMix DSP. I'm running a lightpipe out from a PreSonus Digimax 96 to the 2408 with hopes of getting audio recorded (using the lightpipe). Can't get audio to come through. Analog audio does make it but anything routed to the lightpipe doesn't show in the 2408 meters in front nor on the CueMix mix board display.
I put this up on the MOTU-MAC list and got no response. Anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong? I've unplugged the lightpipe optical cable (I see light) and tried different banks on the 2408 to no avail. The PreSonus only has 'ADAT Out' for the lightpipe and it's plugged into the 2408's optical in(Bank A, B, or C makes no difference).

Have you tried switching the sampling rate on the Digimax and seeing if that works? I have a Digimax LT and the 44.1k sampling rate when bad, but the 48 and 32 worked. If thats the case... youll need to send it to Digimax. Its a problem with the crystal converters. If not... I dont know.
