Hi, I am strongly considering uprgrading our 400 MHz G4 with one of the upgrade cards from Sonnet, or Mercury, the folks at OWC sell.
In the past i took an old 8600/300 MHz to G3/500 with good results. We plan to use it only on PT LE.
My question is if anyone has already tested this upgrades with PT systems. Given our economical situation here in Argentina, this seems to be an excellent option. A G5 is far from our reach, and the Pentium option, we would prefer to avoid.
