Hi
I want to buy a decent and recent VST instrument/synth/sampler pack that has a good size library and some quality sounds
I'm looking at Native Instruments Komplete 8, but I'm wondering.. are there any better/cheaper/smaller alternatives?
I tried Komplete 7 and I thought FM8 (?) was good. Maybe also because of the way you browse through styles etc. to get the right sounds
A lot of what I see around is somewhat old. And I guess I don't need that huge library and various modules that comes with Komplete8
I will mostly be making ambient, relaxing, indie, pop-ish
So wide atmospheric sounds would be good (also)
I have Battery3 drums and that's good for now, so I mostly need a good virtual synth/sample unit
Do you have some ideas to what I should check out?

I will check it out, thanks :)
How about Spectrasonics Omnisphere, even though its 3-4 years old?
Komplete 8 is expensive but it as so many sounds. Great samples

For Atmosphere, omnisphere and Nexus has some great atmospheric sounds.
You got to decide what are the sounds you like. listen to as much as demo as you can and good luck !
