Good mic for snare bottom?

I already mic my toms and top of my snare with SM57's. Is there an affordable mic out there that does well on the snare bottom. I feel I'm using too many 57's as is. .what do you think?

Maybe I can mic the bottom with a 57 and use something else on top?

I like the same mic on top as on bottom of a snare drum... but then i like those to be small diaphragm condensers... usually Neumann KM-84's.

I'm not quite sure of this, but I'm somewhat sure you have to reverse the phase on the bottom mic if you are using a top one too.
