At times, I'd like a less focused sound out of my acoustic guitar than the SRO's and NT1000 gives me.
Any suggestions for good quality dynamics that work well on steel string acoustics?
seems like some cad and sennh. mics are well liked.

My two favorite dynamic mics are the SM57 and Sen 421. They may or may not work in your application. If your set on a dynamic, then a vocal mic might be better suited. I've used a AKG D330BT (now obsolete) for overly bright guitars. AKG makes other more current dynamic mics that would also work. A ribbon mic might just be what you need? They work very well for many sources including vocals.
