Not sure if this is the correct forum;
Opinions on the best plugin Reverb?
I am thinking of getting Room Verb (Spin Audio).

Thanks,

plug in reverb

The new UAD-1 140 Plate reverb is quite good. It uses a lot of processing power though. I believe it's about 150 bucks and you need to have a UAD-1 card installed in your computer to use it. Great results here. Most software verbs don't seem to "gel" with the original sound. This verb sounds very realistic as if the original source was recorded in the same room.

oftware reverbs are a whole other world, and most of us use hardware reverbs as a comparison. I don't know how fair that is. I'm not saying it isn't valid, but I do think it's something to keep in mind. Have you tried the free reverbs? Have you tried sir and the noisevault impulses? Have you tried ambience?

To answer your question directly, yes, room verb is a good reverb... but try the demo and see if you like it's "sound." I use awinda's reverb a lot, but I rairly see it used as anyone's favorite reverb.
