hi there,
hope everythins is fine with you all.
I lurk here sometimes, and I've posted a few.
I'm gonna switch from AD to DP, I've ordered DP3.0.

I would like to knwo from you DP user, if you can create a simple (or even a complex) click track, to use for example for the drummer?
And if yes, can you sequence audio like with cubase?
I mean, as soon as you have a bar full of audio, can you simply drag it to the next bar, exactly? Unfortunately I need the sequancing features, 'cause in the last weeks, a lot of bands has drive me crazy about it, almost refusing to replay a bar or two, 'cause, "you know, you have a computer, isn't easier to copy and paste?".

I know, I know, what you are thinking, but at the end of the month, you have to pay bills and buy food for kids, so. .

ciao
ronnie

Hi Ronnie,

I don't know about Cubase but DP is about as user friendly for sequencing (and advanced) as you will find. For starters if you just want a basic loop for a drummer simply create a 1 measure beat and use the repeat feature to copy as many measures as you want. Click can be internal or set to midi. Editing is VERY easy, features such as Adjust beats can actually get an out of time drummer dead on. I edit most live drummers and sometimes use a combo of midi, i.e kick or snare over or in place of the original, sounds GREAT.
