Hi all, I am in need of some help.

I am using Acid Pro 7 and am routing my tracks through Sonalksis compressors, but after this routing, whether using the Stereo Compressor or the Mono version, the output is always panned to the center, no matter where it was panned before the compressor. I'm sure this is easy to fix using buses, but I'd rather keep things simple if possible. With Acid, this is not seeming to be an easy task.

Thanks in advance all!

The stereo spread after using a compressor should be the same exact thing as before the compressor. You say you are routing them through the compressor, are you using buses? If so I'd check your ins/outs to make sure they line up correctly.

Also this sounds like it could be user error, and/or not knowing the difference between mono/stereo and when to properly use them. How many tracks do you have before the compressor, and where is the compressor routed to? I'd assume you are not using said compressor as a plug on a single track, so it's gotta be routed somewhere.

Well yeah I assumed it was user error as well. It was. Found a hard-to-find option called Link to Main Track Pan.

For anyone else with the problem, it's found by right clicking the "FX#" slider under the panning slider on each horizontal track. I assumed before that this should be some sort of default.

Thanks for the reply!
