Hi all,

I am currently using an Audigy 2 Platinum and I am about to upgrade to a Delta 44. (for latency and sample rate reasons) I do like the audigy a lot for gaming though. Does anyone know if these two card will conflict id I try to use them both.. SB for gaming and M-Audio for recording?

thanks for any and all advice.

Marcus

You should have no problems Marcus.

I use the Audigy 2 Live Platinum for playback of cd's and video with a Delta 1010LT for recording in's/outs and they live together just fine.

When you install your Delta just make sure your software profiles the new card and has been set to run ASIO drivers. The Audigy 2 card runs WDM drivers or runs in simulated ASIO mode (whichever was chosen during setup). So as long as your tracking software knows about the new card and is set to use ASIO drivers you're home free. Windows will use your Audigy as the default card for music, dvd, etc.

Just make sure that when you install the Delta card that Windows doesn't change that. Sometimes new hardware will be set to be used instead of the Audigy. Set the audio devices to the Audigy and select use default devices.
