Ive tried installing some direct x plugins on my laptop. Im running XP with Sonar 4. I cant seem to find any way to access them in sonar.
Another prob Im having is with SIR reverb plugin . I can access it in Sonar but it doesnt change the effect when I mess with it.(no its not on bypass effect) The mix is set to 100 percetnt too.

Regarding the SIR Reverb, did you insert the plug into an Aux Ch
Regarding the SIR Reverb, did you insert the plug into an Aux Channel? If so, make sure you enable the Aux Send feature in the trackview for that Track for the signal to be bused to that Aux Channel (i.e., A1, A2, A3...).
Or did you plug the Verb directly into the trackview for individual channel effects?
The direct x plugs you installed should appear as a seperate group of effects on the effects menu when you right click in an aux channel or trackview to insert an effect. The direct x plugs will not appear as Sonar effect, but rather under the manufacturers name.
