Hey, I'm using garageband and a Behringer mixer. I'm recording direct through the rca cables through the input and output. THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS. I'm playing through my monitors, and it sounds f**king beautiful. then I hit record, still sounds good. DONE. now I play it back, and it lost all of it's dimension and depth, ARRGHGH i've messed around with tons of wire combinations, but to no avail. Any body have a clue? I bloody don't. Thanks, ahahaha.

And of course here I am with my ¢02. Everyone around here knows my great dislike for anything promoted with the word 'mixer' in it. And of course my COMPLETE dislike for anything with the word BEHRINGER on it. GRRAARR! Get a digital audio interface, something with preamps, an analog to digital converter, and a nice way to interface with your computer. Something of the USB/FireWire nature. I'm not sure RCA is the best interfacing device at your disposal. 1/4" and 1/8" are in the same category so before you ask, no you can't :D
