I was just wondering what anybody thougt of the KRK PR-8s, I'm thinking of buying a pair for $500, they also come with SENNHEISER HD280 headphones, I was wondering how good those phones were.

the krk RP series is ok... lacks some low end definition and too much mid-rangey for me.
hd280 headphones are SWEET though. i used them all the time when i do live sound. i havent had a chance to use them in a studio setting, but they do a pretty good job of dampening all other sounds. i forget the magic number, but i think it's something like 15 db of isolation that they provide?
