I have just finished building a new DAW, see post:

I've tried several options, like disabling Bus Mastering, etc. and find it hard to notice a difference in one configuration or another. My question is; what are the optimal settings for this Matrox? Also, what about Write Combining? I don't even know what it means, much less what setting to use.
What are the best settings for the Matrox?

I have used this card in a number of systems and the defaults have always worked fine for me. I believe AGP uses its own bus, somebody correct me if I'm wrong, so the settings shouldn't matter too much. The only thing I've had to change is the refresh rate on one of the monitors to alleviate some EM interference 'tween monitors. J
