Hey there, the one thing holding me back from grabbing an 896HD is the lack of midi.

do any of you guyz know if I could I double it with something like an M audio phile card I have in the PC already and use the midi on that, while leaving the MOTU for all other duties?

I'm juts a bit worried about driver conflicts in Cubase SX

I imagine it 'should' be ok given the audiophile won't be doing audio.,.but I'd still theoretically need it's drivers running in order to use midi, along with the MOTU drivers..

I'm stumped. if it's not this unit it's down to dual firepods for now...which have midi anyway. (needs to be portable as well as for studio). I've been in contact with PreS'nus re: dual pod drivers... but the MOTU looks really ideal. And the cue mix and ability to send multiple monitor mixes would be immensely handy.

PS: does being able to send multi mon mixes collate to sending sep mixes to drummer/ vox etc or does it simply relate to front of house/main mix and that sort of thing..or is this an optional changeable thing..
