OK, fellas...I finally have broken down and threw together some demos to illustrate my voice-over range. I made three separate demos:
1) Character Demo - Cartoon, Video Game characters
http://operadragon.timeimmortal.net/chardemo.mp3

2) "Announcer" Demo - Public Address, Movie Trailer/Promo
http://operadragon.timeimmortal.net/annodemo.mp3

3) Narration Demo - Audiobook/Narrative reading
http://operadragon.timeimmortal.net/narrdemo.mp3

Recorded with a RODE K2 in 12:00 pattern position, a Joemeek ThreeQ Preamp, and a FMR RNC 1773 going into a M-Audio MobilePre USB, mastered in Cool Edit Pro 2.1

Comments, critiques, etc. Hope you all like it.

Just look at your accomplishments thus far; do you really think you would be getting gigs if you didn't sound pro?

I used to worry about what pros thought about my voice. You know as well as I do that you arent making audio for pros or other talent to listen to. The general public will compliment you on your voice if "you have the pipes". It's there opinion that matters. A good producer/project boss or talent agent is in touch with what sounds good to the public. Giving technical advice is the only time opinions from people in the biz matters.

Your best asset is your range, it can appeal to a vast and diverse crowd. You have the pipes, the tech, and the creativity.
