Hi

I know some cable brands like hosa and horizon for passive studio monitors and I also found some expensive cables from
(analysis-plus,fadelart,Z-cable,TMC) brands.

My knowledge about this subject is poor and they are most expensive cables.(I dont know they are for regular speakers
or for studio monitors),I want pro and premium cables whit full of details for use them between Power-Amp and monitors.

can you answer my questions?

1)-which Connector(s) is/are best? (Banana,Spade Lug,T1 Spade,Ring Lug,Speakon to Banana)
2)-which cablewire option? (single wire/Bi-wire)

and also which brand(s) have/has the most pro cables for passive studio monitor using?

thanks

You can get Horizan Megaflex for about 50 cents a foot and its fabulous. Silverflex might be a tab better for 1.65 a foot. When I converted my monitoring systems to megaflex 10 ga from commercial grade 12 ga, the difference was stunning in soundstage, high end clarity, etc - even on short runs.

Banana plugs work very well - but speakons are the best overall connectors for professional work since they will handle biamping, have good surface area contact, a big distance between opposite poles, and won't pull out. They are also field installable with a small screwdriver - no solder. 1/4 inch are the worst, in all the aspects mentioned above.

Use 10ga, but note that many connectors are only good up to 12.
