I had a look back over things. :(

Ok…fair enough…Tekker and Doug both deserve bonus points.
So for the next question they respectively get:

Tekker… +2 bonus points for pointing out one ( deliberate ) Sebatron error

Doug… +4 bonus points for pointing out two (deliberate ) Sebatron errors

OK?

..but only if one of them gets it right….
Otherwise the points are forever lost…. and cannot be re-used.

Well, actually the team of Berkeley Lab scientists that announced four years ago (1999) the observation of what appeared to be Element 118 -- heaviest undiscovered transuranic element at the time -- has retracted its original paper after several confirmation experiments failed to reproduce the results. Elements 113 through 118 haven't been discovered.

That means that the last discovered element on the periodic table is Ununbium (Uub), atomic number 112, discovered on 9th February 1996 at 22:37 at the GSI in Darmstadt, Germany.

I have to object to this!

Since ununoctium is still in the periodic table, the last element would be it, BUT IT HASN'T BEEN DISCOVERED!!!

The correct answer is

Date of discovery: NOT DISCOVERED YET.

alk was the first person to answer correctly, giving all the information in his first answer.

Seb, this is why I find this "competition" so perversely amusing..............you finish off virtually every question with the above statement, which is very clear and concise, yet you don't necessarily stick within the guideline you set when accepting answers.

Sorry guys, I have to quit. It was fun, but I can't afford to hunt the questions because it is too expensive and my internet conection is slow and interuptions are not rare. So good luck to everyone. I have to return for studio work and to finish some of my DIY equipment [four pultecs, four Calrecs, mastering attenuators and mastering equaliser].

I must say I’m very impressed with the persistance and let me tell you , if anyone of you win it will be well worth it because the pres will change your sound completely.
