Guys,

There are some sounds on the old Casio keyboards I'd really like to record, but those old keyboards themselves don't record very well. Anyone know of a site I could download some of these sounds from? For those of you who might be familiar, I'm looking for the 'Twinkle Echo', and 'Wah Voice' sounds particularly. That'll be it for now,

Thanks.

As far as I know, there is really no way to get those sounds out of one of those old Casios, except through the analog outs? if that's the case, only Casio would probably have any possible access to the sample used?

That means that anyone else out there that may have the sounds would have had to record them...as you are trying to avoid?

So, you may just have to bite the bullet and do that yourself. I'm sure you could probably clean them up a bit, and sweeten them a little, through software.

Then again, someone may have some VST instrument or synthesized something that mimics those, but with better quality? I'm guessing that's what you're wondering?

Good luck,
