Help with 1st time studio setup

My father for years has loved to sing and record himself with just his cellphone. I am planning to finally do a little setup for him but I am totally new to this. I believe he has a good speaker the harbinger MLS900 and got a Samson C01 condenser mic with a cheap 48V phantom power supply. Is it a must to have a computer ?

Need help with noise on guitar track

Whenever I record the guitar, I get this super high pitch hissing noise that I can get rid of with a noise gate fx when the guitar isn't being played (very beginning of the clip) But as soon as he starts playing, the noise gate isn't effective any longer. You have to turn the volume up louder to hear it clearly.

Help - All my music on all outlets has been removed?

I'm going mad - I've loads of music on all the streaming and sales platforms - or at least, had until today. Suddenly every single one - my original compositions and recordings plus licences covers have all just vanished. Distrokids has none - one single waiting for release and everything has gone - Spotify yesterday had them all, today, all gone.

Need help with Zoom/Headphones setup

We're doing music lessons via Zoom. I'm recording video via a camcorder connected to capture card. And using USB output from a ZED10FX mixer (voice mic, guitar and backing track) as the "mic" in Zoom. Using a TV as a monitor for the presenter to see the student. And using the speaker in the TV for the student's audio.

M-Audio Profire 2626 v Behringer UMC1820 - Different output frequency profiles?

I had been using a profire 2626 for the past 12 years or so. I switched to the Behringer UMC1820 because it plays a little nicer with Linux.

The Behringer seems to have more low-mids in the output than the Profire 2626 did. It's a little off-putting to my ears. I was very accustomed to the old sound. I'm hesitant to call the Behringer muddy in comparison, but it might be.
