Hi all, i just picked up a crappy bottom of the line midi keyboard to suit my broke ass recording needs and obviously the keyboard has no velocity control, when you hit a key, no matter how hard, it comes out the same volume, when recording in pro tools, is there a way to semi mimic the velocity of a piano or midi effect?

It looks like UA is trying to make a leap toward high-end audio . The x16 model has 133db dynamic range on the DA side (monitor outputs) 124db on the line ins, 127 on the line outs. With price points staying the same as the previous gen, this line of Apollo is looking really sweet. Its nice to see attention given to the DA sides since you can't mix what you cant hear.

Hello ladies and gents. My Orion 32 keeps disconnection via USB so I was thinking would it still work using MADI? Would I need to configure anything in the control panel cause sometimes I can't get to it?

Hello, I'm recording a guitar and backing track and a mic to a video camera (yes, I know it would be better to use a dedicated audio recorder, but we're not so please don't suggest a Zoom recorder, etc.), and I'm trying to determine the best configuration for the guitar sound. Note that the guitar will not be mic'd.
