Not fussed if you like the track, tear it to shreds, looking for productive constructive criticism (and potentially praise!) in regards to the mixdown.

Maybe this question has been asked several times. But I want to know how do you guys get the latency to 0 or bypass it? I have tried to lower the buffer nut still get the latency in my daw while monitoring thru the daw.

Hi all, I have been searching the web for information on 8 track recording with an Alesis Adat. Specifically It seems to me that years back we were recording two tracks at a time and were able to hear playback and then at the same time record on a different set of tracks, basically sound on sound sort of scenario.

Lol, I'm such a moron.
So I had a really nice mix happening for one of the OASIS tracks; nice tight, defined lows, smooth mids, silky top end, instruments and vocals very nicely balanced - except for one very small change I wanted to make... famous last words...

SoundToys is offering their "little plate" reverb plugin - both 32 and 64 bit versions - for free until November 22, 2017.
Both PC and Mac versions are available.
I haven't used it yet so I can't comment on it.

I've been using a home built Windows 2000 PC for years to record and the computer finally bit the dust. I have an M-Audio four port card that I run two outs from my board into. A bootlegged version of Cakewalk SONAR, and various other items. I haven't touched this PC in years and really want to get back into recording but I have no idea what I need at this point.
