Drum Overhead Mics Time/Phase Alignment

Forums

So for years now, at least since DAWs have given us the ability to move audio files around by infinitesimal amounts within a time line, I've both read and talked to other engineers about time aligning the overhead drum mics to the Snare and Kick...
I know there's also software available that can apparently time align those mics/tracks, although I've never used it.

Low Latency Sound Card (Quality does not matter)

Does anyone have a recommendation for a low latency sound card? I hoped to find a few experts here.
The quality of the sound literally DOES NOT matter, as long as the sound is recognizeable. It's main purpose is professional gaming for a rather old game.
(windows 7 / priorities are latency>price>quality)

RIP Paul Buckmaster

Paul Buckmaster, the genius instrument arranger, who worked with everyone from Elton John and The Stones to Keith Urban to Guns and Roses, has passed away at 71.
I've studied his arrangements for decades; his orchestral arrangement of Elton John's Levon still blows me away, and it doesn't matter that I've heard that song hundreds of times, I'm still in awe.

First Recorded Riff

Hey guys, I'm new to the world of recording and was wondering what you guys thought of this. I have no EQ done on this track, I haphazardly threw a compressor on the master in Live and didn't tweak anything at all. I'm running a small 1w Randall Diavlo through a 1x12 V30 cab. Miced with a Shure SM58 with the windscreen removed. All of this is running into an old Mbox2.
