Don't you dare say music is dead !

I've heard that a few times when people talk about main stream, computer music, autotune and how the music business is turning to fast cash directions...

Let me tell you, I know a lot of really good musicians and as long as we keep the pursue of being the best we can at what we do, we will win the industry battle ;)

Here's an exemple of production/event I found recently :

Problem sending midi notes to external hardware in Ableton Live 9 Suite

I want to use Ableton Live 9 Suite to play some background tracks while performing live.
One track is configured to send midi notes to an external drum machine. This drum machine have a built in bass line that plays through a bass amp. I'm just interested in the bass line, which is triggered on channel 8 of Ableton (and other sequencers).

ADM 1540 Equalizer

So I was given a free pair of (what seem to look old) ADM 1540 equalizers today and I'm very unfamiliar with the product. I am not finding much info online. The ones I'm seeing online have the actual number "1540" engraved next to "ADM" but mine do not. I attached a photo. Any info on worth or the year it was made would be great. I've attached a photo.

Here's a Song Called "Jet Surfer" Plz Give FB

Here is another crazy tune called Jet Surfer. It uses a picked bass for the bass track, which sometimes lends itself to a deficient bottom end, but let me know. There is an effect in the beginning of the song (don't let that scare you off), then just guitar and drums before the 1st verse, which starts at about 0.31. Let me know how all the instruments are sitting in the mix.
