Hey guys! This is a cover that I recorded with a good friend. The piano is a patch and I had some trouble mixing it to keep from sounding either fake, or too harsh. I am happy with the vocals in the intro and end, but during the chorus I had trouble keeping everything balanced and distortion free. Also keeping the vocal smooth and not too harsh. I would LOOVEE all of your opinions!

About 6-8 years ago I was a part of a few songwriting forums. They were very busy places. You'd post your song for critique and turn your back and you were on the second page already.

Hello, i was wondering if any of you would be willing to let me use any unmastered tracks for my mastering module on my audio engineering course. An acoustic group I recorded was playing on stage in a room that didn't have the greatest lighting. The two main lights were high-wattage bulbs and hanging from low-rafters just above them and that high-pitched buzz noise from such bulbs is constant background noise throughout the recording.

I have a Taylor 816e with the Expression System 2, and I enjoy recording with it. I've got two young kids, so my studio time often falls during play and/or homework time.

The problem is that the first track IS ALWAYS RECORDED INTO THE SECOND TRACK. What happens from the beginning is this:

I record the first track (rhythm guitar).

Then I record a second track (lead guitar)
