I've noticed a little silent space before the selection in the new created file when bouncing to disk. Is it always like that or am I missing something?

I work in a radio station and exact amount of time in productions is often required.

The solution so far has been opening the new file again and cut the edges within the sample editor. Not so funny.

I'm looking for a good, solid, TT patchbay that's flexible (in that I'll probably want to reconfigure it every so often). My soldering skills suck. So, right now I'm considering getting either one of the Neutrik patchbays that have the "spring loaded push terminals with gas tight connections" or a punchdown-style patchbay. I don't have any experience with either.

I've read all kinds of threads on the very acceptable nature of Nuendo for audio. But nobody ever talks about its midi capability or lack thereof? Their site talks of "virtual" midi instruments, but nothing of how the software will address a rack of midi gear?

anyone got info on these? seem interesting, but would like to know any strength/weaknesses...I did search around and could not find much useful info, if any...

Due to the constant whining from my family for things like food, shelter, clothing, etc., I am always evaluating my gear and tend to get rid of those pieces I don't use very often in order to get new stuff.

After a week of mac woes which involved disk warrior, zapping PRAM, rebuilding desk tops, Norton anti-virus, OS re-installing, Conflict Catcher, etc. the only lingering problem is: All (I mean all) of my SDII file are being represented by a generic document icon. I believe this means that the finder is not recognizing them for what they are, and this will probably lead to trouble.

Hi? I have a serious problem with my DAW and its drifting problem. I'm using Nuendo ver. 1.52 and a St Audio DSP 2000 C-Port. I have my Akai MPC 2000 XL synced through midi to Nuendo. The MPC is the master and its syncing at 30 fps. The problem is that it will sync right but after like 30 seconds it will lose sync badly and not recover.

Does anyone here have any experience with CRane Song's equipment, particularly the Flamingo and HEDD 192? I can't find a soul in the great ::cough:: state of New Hampshire that has a unit to try out. Anyone know how they compare to GML, Avalon, etc.? Thanks!

Since the new interfaces sound so good, what about keeping my Mix3 system w appogees at 48k and doing all the work then just have my Pt Mix room upgrade to the new PTHD. That way I keep all my plugins(which is alot) and do all the important editing them remove the drives and move over to the new HD system for mixing. Any thoughts?
