I am a dance music producer looking for something to track my synths through before dropping them into my DAW. I run a MOTU 1224 system with Logic Audio, which ain't the best but suits my current budget. I then spit the outs through a tasty old AMEK console I have, with various bits of outboard.

Good/bad idea? Haven't got the chance to try it out, maybe one of you guys did once? I'm after a heavy metal kinda drumsound. Now I got a pair of C1000's, but they suck... Maybe a pair of NT1000 would do a better job. I already got 1, maybe I should buy a second.

Where can I get a powered box with 2 VUs and balanced +4 inputs? I don't expect any company to really make this but maybe it is easy to build. Any techs out there?

Just wondering if anyone has been using Digi Studio. The NAMM show demo was pretty cool, I'd really like to hook up with some other folks and give this a try. branch out of our local scene and perhaps make some friends abroad.

Anybody own a CAD E100? How do you like it? What do you use it on? I am looking to get an inexpensive mic to use for trumpet, Flugel horn and guitar cabs. It won't get a lot of use so it has to be inexpensive and no ribons please. Any suggestions?

I have pondered Nuendo vs AW4416 for a long time and think I am ready to make a decision to go with Nuendo. But before I make the investment, I really want to get some opinions about my computer and hardware plan to see if there are any compatibilty problems or other thoughts from you Nuendudes out there.
