Fletcher- I know you use Lucid boxes and DP- Can you run inputs into the ADA8824 and monitor your mains out of the 1 and 2 outputs at the same time- as in, record off of the inputs and monitor it all at the same time? I assume you can, but if so, how do the meters break it down, seeing as how there's only eight total? My 1296 has 12 in meters and 12 output meters, so it's no question.

Am I just not looking in the right place, or is the Hardy company the last holdout from this new fangled internet-thing? I can understand not liking how the WWW turned the old 'net into a dumb relative of television, but it IS a very good way to make product info available to potential customers. Where can I get Hardy product info?

I'm running Sound Designer II on a PPC 8100/80, running OS7.5 with 136 Meg of RAM. My files play back fine, editing works as it should. The problem is that when I try to record from the digital inputs the application locks up after about two minutes, 54 seconds (29.2 MB.) The cursor still moves but I can't select anything and the input meters are frozen.

Can I get some thoughts on this console? I am looking for a console to use as a mixing mechanism from my DAW. I also plan to purchase some Preamps as time goes on but I am seriously considering purchasing the console to start. I have found one at a VERY good price.

Also, looking at the Soundcraft Ghost. All comments welcome.

I have 512 meg of ram. Some people have said to just "disable virtual memory" Do you recommend this? If I do set my own virtual memory is the equation 512 + 1/2(768) Or is it double + half(1280)?

Is there any upgrade path from Classic to a 24/96? Just wondering. Also what is a ballpark figure for a new 24/96 system? Can I buy just the SADiE hardware/sortware and do my own PC?

I have been using Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum (not the free one that cam with the burner, but the commercially available one (~$90 US).

Any one have any idea if this will this program burn to Red Book Specs, or is this home "toy" program?

Background info:
I am currently running VST/32 and the 428 from an IBM Thinkpad T20 laptop.

I just upgraded to SW 2002. It has this "Go Back" program, like System Restore. I must admit that System Restore has saved me many times. I know I don't want to have both of these running. Do you know if one is better than the other?
