I record audio tutorial at my home studio and has no connection with creating music so my requirement is very basic (just to record clean audio as much as possible at my end).

Cards on table - I have very little support for the hi-fi fraternity with their anti-physics viewpoints on all kinds of crazy thing, including the need to have to burn in loudspeakers.

I'm now having to think very hard to explain a recent experience. I thought I'd share it to see if anyone else has views on what is happening here.

Back in 1985 how much would it cost for a mixer and a 32-channel digital recorder? 100K? A million bucks?

This might be the scarlett killer! For the cost of a scarlett 2i2 the M2 is spec'd much closer to a clarett. The m2 is about 1/3 the cost of clarett.

Just signed up, today. Just wanted to reach out and say "hello. is this thing on?" I'm a graduate from Full Sail University (2017), with an Associate's in Audio Production, and I'm also an assistant Audio Engineer at Virginia Beach Recording Arts.

• I record a 4 bar drum part.
• I successfully create a solid loop using these tracks.
• I export the looped tracks.
• I import the newly exported file to it's own track and - I now have a working loop in the new track.

I really found this to be a wonderfully vibed podcast. I hope everyone else enjoys it too! This podcast has had other great guests too, worth checking out. Im definitely a fan.

I was thinking that if I keep my 18i20 preamps as low as they go, that it would keep any coloration from my 18i20 as low as possible and the primary conditioning would be from my ART Pro II that's connected to my 18i20.
I find that I must use the preamps in the 18i20 in addition to the ART preamp to get my input signal to my DAW up enough.

Any advice is appreciated.

I just purchased the TC helicon voice live rack for my recording studio. Does anybody know how to set the harmony to fit my song key please. I am having problems finding this.
