What's the easiest way I can burn a PMCD... I have a G4 mac, running a digi001... what's are my options? what is the best option?

I work with the Finalizer form T.c. El. but i got akind of distortion on high Levels. The Drums are getting to Low on high Level too. How can i make it better and what ist the alternative for this price-class

i have seen this word in my digi 001
system and wondered when should i use it?
what does it do?
what tracks do i use it on?
as you can see i have dithered
niether here nor there. :D :D

i have digi 001 PT LE what plugins would
work with LE to master? or at least as close as
i can get with PT LE.
i dont have Apogeeoutboard gear.

Hi, I've been mastering on a Sonic ssp system for about five years and had very little problems until recently. In the last few months the rate of CD's returned from duplication plants for "uncorrectable errors" has risen to about 20%. When I supply a new master cut on the same system the job finishes successfully but I'm concerned that my Sony 920 and 924 burners have seen better days.

Brad, Were you involved with "Low" by Cracker. That track has the greatest bass tone...the song would be lost without it. Do you know anything about the chain?

Are hi-pass filters commonly used in mastering?

I ask this because when I put a freq analyzer on many a commercial CD, it sure *looks* like there is.

i'm working on tracking/recording/mixing some material for my band and I was interested in what everyone feels is an appropriate budget to set for mastering. is mastering usually charged per song, per disc, per hour of work? we'll probably have 9 to 11 songs.
