Drum Mic opinions
Hello, I am looking for recommendations/opinions on drum mics. I currently have two AT2020s for overheads and an SM57 for the snare. I will be buying two MD421s for my toms. (I use a 4 piece drum kit.) I am leaning towards the E602 for the kick, but want to know if there are any other recommendations.

Micing Live Performance of Sax Quartet
I have a sax quartet and need to record our performances for some QC. The music we play are jazz standards and the arrangements have a lot going on in the inner voices. We need to be able to listen to our performances to check out how we balance on set vs in rehearsal. Our set up is usually in a V. I am unable to place a mic stand in front of the group past the front music stands.

The Premiums are SPL top mic preamps . They are loaded with Lunduhl trannies both in and out, plus these ones have the secondary out for redundant tracking etc. If you are looking for 8 pre's in a rack, these are amazing for drums and other acoustic tracking projects.

Zoom H4n: Using two external mics for & mono mix
Im Using Zoom H4n as a USB interface.
I plugin two SM58 Mics in the two bottom inputs, and get sound from Input 1 on the left channel and Input 2 on the right channel. I'm trying really hard to figure out how to get sound from both inputs to come out of both channels.
