Hello. This is my first post; I would really appreciate some help. I should probably stick around and learn more after, though, as I've been recording for a long time. I might have a toughie here, and it's a long question too. I have included any information that I think is valid and probably some which is not.

hi,

i was interested in purchasing a mixer, but i would like one that i can route audio from Pro Tools 9 back into the mixer so i can mix outside the box. i was looking into the Mackie 1640 but am unsure if i can be done with that mixer. which mixer would allow me to this without buying an SSL or NEVE(though that would be awesome)?

Haven't posted for awhile cause i have a painting business and this summer was especially busy and hard(exteriors lol) and been to tired to even think about gear.

but now its starting to even out and am looking forwards to my 2/3 month winter recording break again.Hee hee.

Hey guys, just wondering what your opinions are on these? Would I be better off trying to build my own contraption or buying one prebuilt?

I'm using the Tascam US 1641 and Ableton Live.

Hello! I was just wondering if anyone could suggest any plugins that specifically reproduce 'environments'... ie... different sized rooms, streets, etc. Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm a newbie in the sound field. I already got 2 Behringer devices. A composer pro-xl MDX2600 and A multicom PRO-XL MDX4600. I want to setup both of them as a "voice over compression" or Ducking but I do really have not idea how to do it. I though the device user manual shows how to do that but Behringer devices manual only states just a few words about it.
