Just looking to print some redbook stuff for clients before it goes off to a real mastering engineer, which I'm not. Was trying to decide between Wavelab Elements and DSP Quattro Pro. Opinions on which would be better? I fooled around with them both some and am leaning towards QP.

I've been using DP 7.2, on a mac g5. when i do the sequence of 'undo' then 'rewind' using the number pads' "7", the program crashes. we've gone back to 7.0, and that has helped, but i a avoid using this sequence, out of fear of losing another four hours work.

Have tried a Zoom H4n but quality not good enough.
Can anyone suggest something I could buy to get better quality?
I dont want to use a laptop as my father needs to use it in his studio after iv'e finished (he's 83 years old) so he needs something simple to use!

Hello everyone...again. My new post is about DAWs. I started into recordings using Sonar 8.5 64bit, borrowed from a friend of mine. When I started some lessons on recording and mixing, the instructor told me everything in Cubase 5.

Now I'm between two Sonar X1 or Cubase 6.

I need them for Recording - Mixing & Mastering.

Hello, I'm almost finished with a song with all Wavesrecorded and everything arranged. Now problem is I'm now realizing the song is slightly too fast, mayb 1 or 2 bpms. when trying to change tempo in project, midi syncs to tempo but not audio, i know theres time stretching but won't that alter the sound/pitch ?

what to do?

Hey guys, I'm sequencing drums on Logic's Piano Roll...

One of my songs is divided in 2 different tempos. when it gets to the chorus, it changes to triplets, in a different tempo. I browsed this forum, took a look on my owner's manual, but still can't find an answer.

So, how to make these tempo changes, and how to have triplets?
