I am hoping this forum can help me out (yet again).
I am in need of a studio ISDN that can also handle POTS. Here's the deal. In the past I saw a unit that treats POTS separately from the ISDN. Meaning, when making a POTS call, it would use the in studio telephone line and not the ISDN (keeping charges down). Does anyone know what unit that is?

I have couple of questions regarding some '95 issued AMEK MOZART I/O modules, in particular the MZ-11 and MZ-15RN:

I have located the schematics of the MZ-15RN module. And I have made a PSU for 2 modules with +/- 17.5VDC and AGND (analog?) and +5VDC and DGND (digital?). There are rails for these voltages on edge connector J2.

Is it possible to quantize an audio file using Pro Tools 5? All I want to do is be able to lay down some simple drum tracks using sounds from a Yamaha S80. Thanks!

I was wondering, (I'm using Sonar x1) if the "pan" knob in each channel is actually a balance knob that just manipulates the L/R volumes to create the illusion of panning?
If that is so..i want to use other Vst plugins to actually move the audio signal itself. what do you guys use?

I worked in 'real' studios 20 years ago. Home studio now. I have -read- about high-endfacilities where -audio- is somehow linked and routed via Gigabit.

I do recording with Tascam's Cubase Le 5, but I can't figure out how to use the absolute timing feature, or whatever it's called on this. I can only select using the counts, not wherever I need to place the marker. Does anyone know how to fix this?
