rehearsal speaker advice needed

hi everyone. yet another newbie here, but not new to recording.
i have a home studio that i use to record my material only and i use a pair of klipsch wf 35's and a crown amp for mixing which do a nice job for me.
we also practise (3 of us) in here (room 20'x22') and were using a pair of 800 watt yorkville U15-P's for that.

Mixing question.

I have mbox2 mini and Pro Tools. I record my guitar first and then vocals on input 1. The problem I am having is when the mix knob is all the way to the left I can hear the guitar live with no delay, which is good. But when I go to record vocals all the way to the left, I cant hear the guitar anymore. The further I turn it to the right the louder the guitar gets and the more delay on vocals.

- bd mic pointing to the center for nice attack or not for more boom.
- sn 45º-60º towards sn center (no bottom mic)
- oh at 1.8 mts height (if the drummer hits them hard)
