I recently purchased some Sennheiser HD600 phones, but no amp. I am (already) amazed by the clarity of the sound--listening to some recordings of Chaka Khan singing I can actually tell her facial expression by the sound of her voice.

I have been using Cubase on a PC for recording/editing/mixing for the past few years and I have never gotten the quality results that I am looking for. For instance I always lose bass response and clarity when I import wavs. into Cubase and end up having to compensate by mixing up bass and treble to teh point that it sounds hissy and crappy.

My question is how when making techno music you have a set bpm lets say of 120 and you have a snare roll which is speeding up, how do you make it a extremely fast all of a sudden that you hear in a lot of dance music without distorting the tempo of the rest of the song?

Hey I'm looking for a decent acoustic drum VST like brushes and all that. I'm looking to do some stripped down versions of songs. Any suggestions?

Hi all,

does anyone know the maximum number of seperate tracks/channels that Ableton 8 can output to?

The reason I'm asking is that I have a 24 channel analog desk and I'm about to spend a bit of money buying an audio interface so that all my seperate tracks in Ableton can be outputted to seperate channels on the desk for mixing purposes.
