I have to create radio spots for several products. I need the know what kind of Vocal PlugIns I should use to get a really good sound.
What stuff you can recommend or share ?

Wow, is all I can say. Sequoia 11 just arrived, installed perfectly. So far... I love it. The gui is so real compared to other DAW software. Makes me feel like I'm on a desk rather than all the clutter with example (Sonar). My first impression, anything that looks this nice has got to get better as I start using it. The workflow is grouped out very logical. Adding effects is simple.

Me and my brother were recording some music last night on sonar, he is an acoustic alternative musician and i am a hip hop artist so the way we record our vocals/instruments differ. For some reason when he would use his guitar to record it would cut off when recording and were forced to loop it. Also we're now having problems with choppy feed back.

i have logic express 8 and i wanna get a usb controller for it. I'm looking for a cheap one to start on, i was thinking maybe Korg nanokontrol or novation nocturne? i have absolutely no experience in this area so help would be appreciated. thanks!

I was just wondering if anybody can tell me if Focusrite's Liquid Mix unit would provide better compressors and EQ then Logic's own.

Basically is it worth it?

I've got the chance to upgrade from Logic Express 8 to Logic Express 9. What's the consensus here? Worth it at this point or wait till they get a few more bug fixes? Anybody here use the new one? How are the new features? Flex time work better than time and pitch machine?

I am doing some mixing at a friend's studio & he has run into a problem which I told him I would run by you guys, since I have been helped here in the past.

First of all, I am tracking on PT's HD with version 6.9.2, he has the Digi 002 rack version 7.0 with a Soundcraft GB 8 analog board. I take my sessions to him via hard drive.

I use Lavry and Mytek, what do you use or what is your dream DAC? I've heard others like DCS and Prismsound, but have found Lavry and mytek to provide me with my best results. Just curious what others think.

Hello I am using Cubase, and i am trying to figure out how to set a click track for my drummer. We have a few timing changes within the songs we are playing, and iam kinda new to the whole drum recording thing. How do i build a click track for each individual song, and can i change the sound of the click to something like a cowbell instead of the annoying beeping within the program
