Recording vocals into Sonar 4 project with several tracks already on it:

During record everything sounds great, but when recording is complete, the recorded vocal is at a different speed than the rest of the tracks (slightly faster). Starts at the same mark as the other tracks, but by the end of the song is noticeably ahead of the beat.

I have a RODE ntk with no preamp right now. Should I get the 610 solo to record vocals and acoustic guitar? Anything else you would recommened?

i've been having some automation problems w/ Reaktor 5 and C4.

i'm using the pitch shifter module and have been trying to automate both the "shift" knobs and the "mix" knobs. everything writes the way it's supposed to, the stuff shows up in the automation tracks and everything, but when i playback/read the auto. nothing happens.

Anyone know of any Native plugin that comes close to UAD's LA-2A and the 1176LN emulation.

I will be getting a UAD pack in about a month. But untill then I need a plugin that has the Lushness and Creamyness of the UAD's LA-2A .

Which plugin compressor have you used that comes the closest. Thanks

i teach guitar part time and am looking a simple recording program for teaching puposes.
i want to have a library of short musical phrases with guitar or keyboard (never both) and spoken word.
i want to be able to quicky make tracks using various combinations of the clips.
i will be using the line in on my budget soundcard.

I run a PC with a lynx aes16 card and an aurora16 converter unit. I run nuendo. Can I run pro tools le software with my setup? or do you have to use their crappy hardware? I'm just looking for client compatibilty. you know, industry standard blah blah blah... any help would be appreciated!

I cannot decide which to go for. I am using Cubase SX3 recording mainly Audio. And would mainly like to use good Compression and Eq's

are there any vst plugins that anyone knows of that allow you to turn one vst into a multi VST slot? A program I used to use called "Multitrackstudio" had a vst built in that would do that.

I use Logic and Apogeerosetta 800, everytime I bounce the whole track when finished production, (this will go through a Neve preamp usally.). WHY the song played from logic always sound better from the one bounced?
