Hi there, this is Lars from Germany, Europe...I bought a Fostex G16 analog Multitracker in used but good condition some days ago. The Machine looks good and i got any service manuals and stuff along with the machine. There are some problems to fix, which I knew while buying it, for that reason it was quite cheap. (260 Euros).

I have Cubase SX3 and I wanted to sell it. Kept it on ebay. I listed my auction 2 times, each time for 7 days! Both times the price didn't meet my reserve price of around $400 which is close to half of retail. What is going on? Don't people buy software anymore? Or does Cubase SX have not-so-good reputation?

Is it possible to run Nuendo with my current Delta 44 and PT MBox
on the computer or do I need separate systems. I only want PT to use Source Connect.

Hi, I am new here and am looking for some advice on using Waves plugins for mastering. I just got the Platinum bundle and am a slight novice. Any tutorial help would be great as well. I use Sonar 4.0 PE for seq. wavelab 5.0 for editing plus a boatload of other plugins. Thanks for any help and taking a moment to read this post.

after software compression? I've been compressing but not using the compressor make up gain to add db's---i've been using the fader..does that make a sonic difference?

I have decided to take the plunge and open a studio. I have a few pieces of decent gear that have got me along up to this point but have been looking at gear purchases to put me into a much more pro class of gear and sound results.

What is, in your opinion, the highest quality pitch correction software out there. I am not looking for real-time pitch correction or anything fancy; what I want is the highest quality of pitch correction, don't care how much CPU it uses, how long it takes, whether its stand alone or stand in the corner on one leg.

I have a well equipped studio capable of mixing to 5.1. Problem is, I don't know exactly how to capture this mix and then burn it down to DTS or AC3. I know that some very expensive programs are capable of doing everything but as I stated before I only need to capture and burn. If anyone can help me in this area I would appreciate it.
