Magix Music Studio for non-pro
Forums
I'm not a pro and I can't afford Sampltude.
What do you think about its little brother ?
Here in Europe it's only 35 € for students and it seems to have really all what I need for editing 6 tracks max and mastering in stereo, with the famous Samp quality.

Does VS-1880 have R-Bus capability?
Forums
I have a Roland VS-1880 and I'm thinking about buying a Roland RPC-1 sound card for my computer and connecting the two with a R-Bus cable. On the back of the 1880 there is only a SCSI port, can I use this as an R-Bus port or not?

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum... but I am in DESPERATE need of some help. I've been given a live CD project to mix and edit. I'm used to using Logic Audio on a PC... but this project required that I finally break down and get a mac (it was recorded in Pro Tools, audio files in mac format).

Printing stereo mix inside Pro Tools...
Forums
Hello all. I am curious as how to print a stereo mix inside of pro tools. I've done it numerous of time with a patchbaybut I'm trying it on my home rig for the first time. I have a 002 with 6.9.2. I'm almost positive I must do something with my I/O setups, but maybe not. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Pro Tools, is it worth the investment?
Forums
Hi All
Looking to upgrade our studio in Mauritius, and I'm wondering if its worth going for Pro Tools.
I've worked on Pro Tools at college, and enjoyed the interface.
But my question is really is it worth going for something else, which might be better 'value for money'.
Our budget is approximatly £12Kor $18K.
Looking forward to any comments

Need Help for Fostex G16!
Forums
Hi there, this is Lars from Germany, Europe...I bought a Fostex G16 analog Multitracker in used but good condition some days ago. The Machine looks good and i got any service manuals and stuff along with the machine. There are some problems to fix, which I knew while buying it, for that reason it was quite cheap. (260 Euros).
Now I want to fix that problems.
