can you slow something down in logic pro (or peak!) without involving a timestretch algorithm, ie slow it down like you would with a pitch control slider on a turntable so the duration and pitch are changed proportionally. or am i being stupid?i couldn't find it.

Just curios as to the impressions of both of theses reverbs. Anyone had experience with them both to be able to give a comparison?

So like I have my Firebox right... it has two front mic/instrument inputs, and 2 1/4's in the back. In Cubase when I do an audio track it shows IN: IN 1, IN 2. But no 3 or 4 though they are there, and they will work if I bring up the Firebox mixer thing. How do I get Cubase to show it? I'm confused and I can't figure it out.

what is your guys most common chain order for the geetar, i usually compress and then eq. but i do most my equing why tracking through my pre's anyone wan to add.

Hey guys, how would you rate these mics on their sound quality
in a rock context. They are for drum overheads and acoustic guitar?

Keep in mind the price differences. A mic that sounds 2% better but costs twice as much isn't worth it in my opinion.

I am very new at this so bear with me. I have an Alesis Multimix 8 mixer/usb interface and Cubase LE on my laptop. I records tracks fine, but playback and overdubbing sounds like absolute crap. There's this high pitch squeel and it sounds really quiet too even though my recording levels are high.

Im thinking of buying a used Lexicon 480L for my studio. Will there be any difference using a plugin reverb (lexiverb, TCmegareverb, etc) than the 480L?
