OK, I finally took the plunge and upgraded to Nuendo 2.0.1 up from 1.5.2. I am pleased with the sound quality, but the new layout is throwing me a bit. I am using a Nuendo/RME Digiset for my soundcard and am using ADAT light pipe to transfer from my Yamaha AW4416. To transfer tracks to Nuendo, I used to have to designate inputs.

Universal Audio has just released a new version of their Powered pluginsfor the UAD-1 card, version 3.4. This new version includes the new Fairchild compressor emulation.

Also, Waves has announced a new convolution reverb plugin at the recent NAMM show that looks pretty sweet. It is pretty pricy however, and will probably be a CPU hog as well.

Just wondering what you you guys think?
I use them both, but seem to be falling more and more in love with Nuendo 2. It looks great, sounds amazing, and works with every piece of hardware I throw at it. Hmmm... so why do we still use PT?

Looks pretty cool, Don't know if I am ready to give up my PC and Sonar but still is a cool comes with everynew Apple computer program!
