I thought a bout am ADAT but it was Kinda to expensive of a job for a guy like me.

I am using Cubase SX and I want each track in my project to have a channel on my analog mixer sort of like in the Studios you all understand?

is there a sound card or sumthing I could use? HELP

I'm going to be running 2 pairs of monitors and a sub and want to be able to switch between the monitors and toggle the sub on and off. Anyone have some advice?

I can't a afford the PreSonus Central Station so that is out of the question.

Hello! I currently have a PreSonus Firestation. Due to our new band addition we will be needing more inputs then currently on the FS. I was wondering what I could go about doing to have more inputs. I believe I read the Firestation has mLAN because of it's ability to hook up other hardware up to it.

I wonder if someone in this forum recognizes or is able to figure out what could be causing this problem:

Since I moved my PC to a personal studio from my bedroom, I began experiencing problems burning CD’s.

I've noticed the very attractive pricing on the Yamaha i88x firewire interface (must not be selling). But, I've also read a few horror stories about MLan and the quality / stability of its drivers for XP. Also I hear some firewire devices are pretty fussy about which firewire boards / chips are being used.

What console is better, and why is it better?

I have a pair of Event TR8's and I can't mix anything that translates properly! I've been using them for a long time now, have changed my room, treated my room with help from the acoustics guys, changed my listening position. .and still! The funny thing is. my mixes sound terrific on the monitors then when they get to a different pair, my car, my stereo. crap!

Does anyone out there have any ideas on how I can route an Mbox to a digital CD recorder and the recorder to digital output on the monitors? This is what's in my DAW:

I am trying to connect my mic (RODE K2) to my PreAmp (The Brick) into my Compressor (RNC) into my Digi002.

Here's where I'm not sure what to do...

The output from the Brick is balanced (XLR). The RNC however only takes in unbalanced inputs. So how do I unbalance my connection so I can use these two peices of gear together?
