I need a good eq and compressor for my DAW.

I don't want to spend more than $150.00 each.

I've figured out how to record and playback almost perfectly on the mbox, but I still would wanna know whether it's physically possible somehow for the mbox to operate on its full capabilities on programs like: Sonar 4, Adobe Audiotion, or even Adobe Premier.

I am trying to figure out how to resolve the severe latency while running Guitar Rig as a stand alone app. - I have an M Audio 1010 sound card and changing the latency settings on its control panel does not change the delay in Guitar Rig when I am monitoring my guitar playing.

so i have an mbox coming in the mail anyday now and I'm just thinking before it get here of how I'm to set up speakers with it and my computer. as of now i have two Alesis monitors hooked up to my mac. i have them running through a splitter from the headphone out of the computer and then split to 1/4 inch for each speaker. now i know with the mbox there are speaker line outs.

Hey everyone, since this is the budget forum, I figured I should ask a for an opinion on a budget multitracker.

Does anyone have any thoughts, praises, complaints on Tascam's new DP-01fx?

It appears to be a great deal, and I am considering buying it...I'd like some input from some of the pro's though.

I am young, I have a good job with good pay as a software engineer, I still live at home (I'm 18), I graduated high school 2.5 years early and got some college out of the way and I have a love for music...I'm sure this is the same story as a lot of folks around here but I need some advice and recommendations from you guys...

I am going to look at an old Presto 5 or so channel tube mixer this afternoon. Does anyone have any info on these. I can see from here and on the net that they made record lathes and some pro-audio-gear... Sun studios for instance had some Presto equiptment... which was about the only reference I could find. Any info would be elpful

I've been looking into these units for awhile but I'm not sure which to choose. In the past I've used Lexicon reverbs a lot because I like them but I've heard the M3000 demo CD and it sounds pretty good.

hello all, so high school is almost done and it's senior paper time. Our paper is on occupations and of course i want to do my paper on recording. So this is where all you studio owners and engineers come in, I need to 'interview" 5 people and tell about their jobs, but sadly there are no studios in western PA close to me so ask you for your help.
