Okay. I promised I'd update on this thing...So far we've only used it to record ACCORDIANS...ADK A51..modified.

Perhaps we can get some opinions on control surfaces, what people like and don't like about particular models- :cool:

I have a couple nice pres and I've been thinking about picking up a tube pre. I was wondering how the Sebatron rates in terms of color. I know the A designs unit is relatively clean, while the UA 610 has a good amount of color. Does the Sebatron have more color than the UA or is it cleaner?

Hi all!

I record at home during my free time, but since my fellow house-dwellers sleep at night, I'm restricted to recording direct to my PC/4-track/whatever I happen to be using at the time.

My guitar parts just don't have that "something" that most commercial recordings do. I know most people have the luxury of Micing up an amp and tearing away.

i'm thinking of getting the Apogeebig ben. any of you have any thoughts on this or have one?

If I'm remembering correctly it will take three UAD cards and will run most vst plugins.. two touch screens...

I've been thinking a lot lately about investing in an fw-1884. Since the demise of Tascams forum, I haven't been able to find anyone who may know much about it. I saw that Tascam also just released a new usb control surface with more faders: the us-2400. I can't seem to find much info on it either. (how many inputs?) Anyway, if anyone has any light to shed on the subject, I'm all ears.
